East Students Take Top Spots in Kentucky Duck Stamp Contests

East Calloway Elementary School fifth grade students Dax Knieriem and Freyja Beatty won first place in their age division in the Kentucky Junior Duck Stamp Contest.

Knieriem received first for his conservation message, and Beatty earned first for her artwork. Both students received a $100 prize. The state contest is a part of the national contests held by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
