CCMS Speech Team Wins Murray Middle Tourney

Calloway County Middle School Speech Team placed 1^st at the Murray Middle Tournament on January 7. The team had 7 tournament champions including: Courtney Hargrove in dramatic interpretation and oratory, Addy Lusk in extemporaneous speaking and impromptu, Faith McCafferty in prose and storytelling and the improvisational duo team of Charlotte Haws and Ava Moore.  

In broadcasting, Hunter Ringstaff placed 5^th and Colin Naber placed 4^th. In declamation, Ella Burkeen placed 3^rd. In dramatic interpretation, Leah Hughes placed 2^nd and McKenna Hopgood placed 4^th. In duo acting, the team of Courtney Hargrove and Caden Bumpus placed 2^nd while the team of Addy Lusk and Hunter Ringstaff placed 4^th. The duo acting team of Serenity Byrley and Ofellia Feezor placed 5^th. In extemporaneous speaking, Caden Bumpus placed 2^nd, Tyler Sadler placed 3^rd and McKinley Marshall placed 5^th. In impromptu, Amanda Ezinma placed 5^th and Hayden Gilbert placed 6^th. The improvisational team of Kannon Bruce and Parker Morris placed 6^th. Liberty Fitch placed 2^nd in oratory and Amanda Ezinma placed 3^rd. In poetry, Zoey Joyner placed 3^rd, Charlotte Haws placed 4^th and Ally Turner placed 6^th. In storytelling, Kannon Bruce placed 2^nd, Kensley Hutson placed 4^th and Aaliyah Byrley placed 5^th.
