Three Lakers Earn KBEA State Keyboarding Contest Honors

Three Calloway County students placed in the statewide KBEA Keyboarding Contest this spring.

Calloway County Middle School student Kate Darnell placed first overall in the middle school division with 96 NWAM. CCMS student Brooklyn Powell finished second with 74 NWAM. Both students won gift cards from KBEA as prizes for placing.

Calloway County High School student Jillian Stovall placed second overall in the state in the high school division with 116 NWAM and also received a gift card.
