STATE CHAMPS! CCHS Girls' Track Wins 2A State Championship in Lexington

Calloway County High School's Girls' Track team won the 2026 KHSAA Outdoor Track and Field State Championship on May 22nd at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

The Lady Lakers finished with 108 total points ahead of second place Lexington Catholic with 81 points.

Multiple Lady Lakers won individual state championships in events and scored points for their team.

Layla Green was the state champion in High Jump and finished second in Long Jump and 100m hurdles.

Jaiden Koch finished as state champion in the 800m run and third in the 1600m run.

Ann Marie Arnett was the state champion in Triple Jump and eighth in the 100m dash.

The 4x100m relay also finished as state champions with Layla Green, Marciyah Mays, Ann Marie Arnett, and Hayden Loveless.

The 4x200m relay finished in second with Raylee McClure, Marciyah Mays, Ann Marie Arnett, and Hayden Loveless.

In Shot Put, Keatyn Tynes took second place and Brylee Barrow took fifth. In Discus, Barrow placed fifth and Tynes took seventh.

Hayden Loveless placed second in the 100m dash and fifth in the 200m dash.

The 4x400m relay placed third with Emma Lanier, Mariah Cunningham, Vayla Carlisle, and Jaidan Koch.

Jillian Stovall placed 8th in Pole Vault.
