Lillian Jansma is the CCHS January Rotary Student of the Month

Calloway County High School senior Lillian Jansma has been named the January Student of the Month by the Rotary Club of Murray.
Jansma is a standout academic at CCHS and is on track to graduate in May as a valedictorian with a 4.0 grade point average. Upon graduation, she will have achieved 15 college credit hours through dual credit courses. She is also on track to complete all three business pathways at CCHS.
Jansma is also involved in numerous extra-curricular activities and clubs at CCHS. She has been a class officer during her sophomore, junior, and senior years. She has held multiple roles in the Future Business Leaders of America and has placed in marketing in regional and state competitions. She also participates in Student Council, Lakers for Christ, Pep Club, Interact Club, and the Unified Track Team.
In the community, Jansma is a member of Westside Baptist Church, where she volunteers within their youth programs. She also volunteers with the school’s FBLA and UCS clubs. She also teaches Junior Achievement financial lessons to students at Southwest Calloway Elementary.
After high school, Jansma plans to attend Murray State University to pursue a degree in Marketing.
Lillian is the daughter of Tom and Julie Jansma.
