CCHS Speech Team Finishes 5th at Henry County Invitational

Calloway County High School's Speech Team placed fifth at the Henry County Krider Invitational in Paris, TN on November 2nd.

The team advanced 9 of 13 entries to finals.  Elizabeth Lanier placed in all three of her events, ranking 3^rd in extemporaneous speaking, 3^rd in humorous interpretation and 2^nd in impromptu. In prose, Quinlyn Moore placed 3^rd, Madison Morris placed 4^th, Charlotte Haws placed 5^th and Sarah Gardner placed 6^th.  The improvisational duo team of Brilee Garland and Madison Morris placed 3^rd.  Levi Dunnaway placed 2^nd in radio broadcasting.   

The team is coached by Jennifer Dunnaway, Miranda Wilson and Jamie Smith. The team's next competition is on November 16^th at Murray State University.
