CCHS Senior Madison Poll is the April Rotary Student of the Month

Calloway County High School senior Madison Poll has been named the April Student of the Month by the Rotary Club of Murray.
Poll has earned a 4.0 grade point average and is on track to be a valedictorian upon graduation in May. She also achieved a 28 composite score on The ACT Test. During her classwork at CCHS, she has achieved awards in Spanish I, Spanish II, Integrated History, Foods and Nutrition, and Technical Design. She is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) and has earned numerous college credit hours at CCHS while taking dual credit, Advanced Placement, and honors classes.
Outside the classroom, Poll has been in the Laker Band for seven years and has been the color guard captain for two years. She is also involved in the school’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter and the Student Council. She also a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church.
After graduation, Poll plans to attend Murray State University to major in biology and pre-medical studies. She also plans to attend graduate school to obtain a doctoral degree in pediatric medicine.
Madison is the daughter of Michael and Kristi Poll.
