CCHS Senior Landon Roach Named March ATC Rotary Student of the Month

Calloway County High School senior Landon Roach has been recognized as the March Area Technology Center Student of the Month by the Rotary Club of Murray.
Roach is a standout in the culinary classes at ATC. He also has worked with ATC chef Kathleen Holman during an internship where he assisted students with special needs in the kitchen.
“Landon is someone who helps everyone and wants everyone to feel included,” said Holman. “As an intern, one of his main jobs in class is to help and encourage the special needs students in class so that they fully participate and enjoy class. Landon is an outstanding teacher, mentor, friend, and leader. He participated in this year’s Bistro as a floating cook, and he excelled at his job by helping in every position and encouraging the crew. When he graduates, he will truly be missed.”
Roach also has taken multiple carpentry classes at ATC.
Outside the classroom, Roach works part time at a farm and is active in his church.
After graduating in May, Roach plans to join the workforce immediately. He also plans to attend trade school soon to eventually pursue a career as a plumber.
Landon is the nephew of Barbara Manning.
