CCHS Senior Jackson Ames is the February Rotary Student of the Month

CCHS Senior Jackson Ames is the February Rotary Student of the Month

Calloway County High School senior Jackson Ames has been named the February Student of the Month by the Rotary Club of Murray.

Ames boasts a 4.0 grade point average at CCHS and is projected to be a Valedictorian upon graduation in May. Upon graduation, Ames will have completed five college dual credit courses along with numerous other honors and accelerated classes.

Ames is involved with multiple extra-curricular activities outside the classroom. He is a student-athlete, competing at the varsity level in basketball, baseball, and golf. He also is the vice president of the school’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter and the vice president of the senior class. He is a Lakers 4 Christ council member and a Unified Champion Schools member.

In the community, Ames is a member of The Journey Church, where he volunteers to lead a K-5 youth group.

After high school, Ames plans to attend Murray State University to pursue a degree in Business Administration. He also plans to attend seminary school to pursue a career as a pastor.

Jackson is the son of David and Mindy Rose.
