CCHS Senior Aubrey Naber Named Student of the Year by Murray Bank and Murray Ledger

Calloway County High School senior Aubrey Naber was named the Student of the Year by The Murray Bank and The Murray Ledger & Times. Naber received a $1000 scholarship for the award.

Naber holds a 4.0 grade point average and is on track to be a Valedictorian upon graduation this month. She also scored a perfect 36 on The ACT Test. 

As a junior and senior, Naber has been enrolled in eight dual credit or Advanced Placement classes. She was a 2025 selection for the Governor's Scholars Program at Morehead State University.

Outside of the classroom, Naber is highly involved with numerous groups. She is the president of the CCHS Future Business Leaders of America chapter. She is also on the school's academic team and a part of the Future Problem Solving team. That team finished second at the FPS International competition in June. She is also in the school's Beta Club, Interact Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, and Future Farmers of America. She is also a student-athlete, competing for the Laker golf and tennis teams.

In the community, Naber is a member of the Journey Church. She also volunteers as a coach for the CCMS academic team.

After high school, Naber is plans to attend Murray State University to become a middle school English and math teacher.

Aubrey is the daughter of Casey and Jessica Naber.
