CCHS Junior Kameron Myers Selected for Murray State's Commonwealth Honors Academy

Calloway County High School junior Kameron Myers has been selected for the Commonwealth Honors Academy at Murray State University. 

The Commonwealth Honors Academy is a three-week academic enrichment experience held every June on MSU's campus. Students live on campus while they take college-level honors classes and participate in fun activities and seminars to grow personally and socially. CHA graduates receive 3 hours of college credits and a 4-year full tuition scholarship to MSU.

Applicants must be high school juniors with a minimum 3.5 grade point average and a 25 composite score on The ACT Test.

Myers has a 4.0 GPA at CCHS with a rigorous class schedule including honors, AP, and dual credit courses. He is also a member of the BETA Club and Future Business Leaders of America. He is a current member of Leadership Tomorrow and is on the Laker track and cross country teams.

After high school, Myers plans to attend Murray State in hopes of pursuing a career in accounting or electrical engineering. He is the son of Kody and Tabitha Myers.
