CCHS Girls' Track Team Earns Indoor 2A State Runners Up

Calloway County High School's girls' track team earned second place as a team in the KHSAA 2A State Indoor Track and Field meet held at the University of Kentucky on March 5th.

The team finished with 91.5 total points, finishing behind only Lexington Catholic with 106 points. Boyle County finished in third with 60.5 points.

Layla Green won three individual state championships - the 55m hurdles, long jump, and high jump.

Jillian Stovall won an individual state championship in pole vault.

Hayden Loveless finished second in the 55m dash and 200m dash. The 4x200 meter relay team also earned state runners up.

In shotput, Keatyn Tynes finished second and Brylee Barrow placed third.
