CCHS Girls' Track Finishes Second Overall at KHSAA 2A State Indoor Meet

Calloway County High School's girls track team finished second overall at the KHSAA State 2A Indoor Championships in Louisville on March 4th. The Lakers finished with 89.5 points, behind only Lexington Catholic's 101 points and ahead of 24 other teams in the state.

Layla Green placed first in the high jump and was runner-up in the 55-meter hurdles.

Hayden Loveless won first in the 200-meter dash and was runner-up in the 55 meter dash.

The 4x200 team also placed first, consisting of Green, Loveless, Anna Marie Arnett and Lexi McClure.
