CCHS Girls' Cross Country Wins Sixth Straight Regional Championship

Calloway County High School girls' cross-country team won their sixth straight regional championship at the KHSAA Class 2A Region 1 championship in Logan County on October 25th.
The regional win qualifies the team to compete in the KHSAA state championships on November 1st at Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
In the regional run, the Lady Lakers had three top 10 finishers, with Jaidan Koch in fourth, Vayla Carlisle in fifth, and Sadie Lilly in eighth. Also scoring points for the team were Bella Norsworthy in 13th and Lucy Norsworthy in 18th.
On the boys' side, Theodore Perlow and Odin Beatty qualified for the KHSAA state championships as individuals, with the team finishing seventh overall.
