Three CCHS Football Lakers Earn Paducah Sun All-Purchase Honors

Calloway County High School's football team had three selections to the 2025 Paducah Sun All-Purchase Team.

Senior Logan Smith was honored as a 2025 Paducah Sun All-Purchase Running Back. Smith totaled 1,868 total yards in 2025 and scored 21 touchdowns.

Junior Brayden Winchester was selected to the team as a defensive end. Winchester finished fourth in the state with 14.5 sacks, forcing three fumbles, recovering two, and recording a safety.

CCHS Head Coach Coby Lewis was named the 2025 David Barnes Coach of the Year. Lewis led the Lakers to the playoffs and a 6-4  regular season record in his first season at CCHS.
