CCHS FFA Takes 2nd Out of 87 Teams at MSU's FFA Field Day

Calloway County High School's Future Farmers of America Chapter took second overall as a team at Murray State University's FFA Field Day competition on April 15th. The Lakers' were the top team from Kentucky and the runner-up finish was out of 87 teams from multiple states. CCHS has placed as champion or runner-up at the event for 20 straight years.

Highlights include:

Champion Wildlife Evaluation, Team: Elijah Rudolph (1st individual), Tate Ryan, DJ Hinson, and Grayson Roberts 

Champion Farm Management Team: Collin Naber (1st individual), Jaylee McLeod, Memphis Bray, Cameron Smith

Champion Tool Identification individual, Cash Pittman 

Champion Seed Identification individual, Mason Falwell

Auctioneering Runner-up individual, Luke Johnson

Weed Identification Runner-up individual, Japheth Miller

Tobacco Judging Runner-up Team: Walker Bell, Trice Jones, Asher Kelly, Ross Rogers

Nursery/Landscape Runner-up Team: Mason Riley, Aubrey Naber, Bella Norsworthy, Emerson Herndon
