On February 12, Calloway County High School Speech Team placed 2nd at the Kentucky High School Speech League Regional Tournament. The team advanced 9 students to the state tournament which will be held at Northern Kentucky University March 11th and 12th.
The team boasts two regional champions: Kara Buchanan in dramatic interpretation and Travis Gore in humorous interpretation. Elizabeth Lanier was regional runner-up in oratory and Bella Wilson was runner-up in prose.
