CCHS Students Chosen for MSU Quad State Honor Choir

Honor Choir

Congrats to CCHS students Olivia Lane, K.K. Stone, Eli Williams, Valus Jackson, Chad Royal, and Chloe Hutson for being chosen for MSU's Quad State Honor Choir.

The Quad State High School Honor Choir is one of the oldest continuously running festivals in the South and carries a rich tradition at Murray State University. Selected by audition, the 180 high school singers from a five-state region gathered on the Murray State campus for a day and a half festival November 7-8, rehearsing and performing a set of Baroque masterpieces, with chamber orchestra, from the choral/orchestral repertoire. The concert was held in the ball room of the MSU Curris Center and the choir was conducted by Murray State University Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Bradley Almquist. All students are members of the CCHS choir under the direction of Mark Dycus.
